I have been testing my exchanged copy of FA 50 f/1.4 after finding too many soft pictures even in daylight environment in f/4.0 with my 1st copy. The exchanged copy seems better in terms of sharpness in daylight and I don't have many test pictures for indoor but so far I find it better in sharpness than my 1st copy. For indoor, I still run into soft pictures at f/2.0 or lower but overall it is better than my 1st copy.Love the sharpness, color and contrast
