The only gripe that I found is unexplained over-exposure that I ran into with apertures smaller than f/5.0. Maybe I set the ISO wrong for the scenes. More test will tell

@chunehoong, I am very excited about how good the color and bokeh of this lens. Even wide open shots are lovely. And I do have the 2x TC adaptall-2 01F. It usually cost around $30 to $40. I see less a reason NOT to find a good copy to use with my adatpall-2 lens

@IndianaDinos, I think there may be other good Tamron adaptall-2 lens that are least talked about as they are not mentioned in the adaptall-2.com site. I recall Jim King with a copy of 28-105mm f/2.8, 35-105mm f/2.8 and one other one which are manufactured in the late years of adaptall-2 lens line. I especially impressed on Jim's report on his Tamron adaptall-2 28-105mm f/2.8, it is a big and huge lens but the color and bokeh are really outstanding. And I also loved my copy of Tamron SP adaptall-2 80-200mm f/2.8 adaptall-2 30A as I found that to be my poor man's choice for 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom lens with MF.
