Please do check if your adaptall-2 adapter can work without issues if you happen to have another adaptall-2 lens. I bought it based on my findings that it works with Pentax FA* 300mm f/4.5 and I hope it works with my F* 300mm f/4.5. It doesn't work on my F* 300mm as it is a bit bigger than the len barrel. With the Tamron, it is a bit tight but still manage to close down for a tight fit. The tripod actually help me to stabilize my use with the heavy lens in a strange way. I will recommend that tripod to others but the size may not fit to all lenses mentioned.Hin Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11542007867767875530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34648316.post-46314698528083826882009-12-11T14:23:46.456-08:002009-12-11T14:23:46.456-08:00Nice to know that the (cheap) Canon 3rd party trip...Nice to know that the (cheap) Canon 3rd party tripod ring fit the Tamron. I think it's the one for the Canon 70-200mm f/4 L. Is their quality acceptable for sporadic, non professional use or just a waste of money?Ripafrattahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04165831826211883254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34648316.post-78842533850732316212009-10-04T09:01:13.200-07:002009-10-04T09:01:13.200-07:00@Somanna, I was wrong about its size. I wish I have your muscular arms and I am all set for the heavier setup

@Somanna, though the lens is heavy, it is not too big. It is roughly the size of the DA* 50-135mm with bigger filter size in 77mm. But it is much heavier than the DA* zoom. I will hopefully post a comparison picture later.Hin Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11542007867767875530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34648316.post-24445320134336343862009-10-02T07:07:16.898-07:002009-10-02T07:07:16.898-07:00Could you post a photo of the lens attached to the...Could you post a photo of the lens attached to the camera?
