Wow the Pentax k-01 looks like a brick in comparison to the NEX 5N! The k-01 is nice to accept existing Pentax lenses for those who own them already, but I'm not sure the k-01 will bring new users looking for a mirror-less camera into the Pentax camp. Too many other much more sleek options out there.
Looks like a fair comparison to me! The Pentax is indeed a brick. But at least you can get it in yellow.
But Sony doesn't make any pancakes so if you consider the lens + adapter compared to the new pentax 40mm XS lens the difference is not that great.

On the Pro side for the K-01, which made me consider it more, aside from lens compatibility
-almost all options on NEX are through touchscreen (not handy in quick street photography situations i reckon)
-K-01 has external flash & mic mounts
-and last but not least; the image quality & low-light performance of the k-01
Aesthetically i can see how the K-01 comes up short, but performance-wise & long-term usability it does quite a good job that beats most Entry-level DSLRs
